Admittedly, Ridge's statement then that the "intelligence" was a "result of the president's leadership in the war against terror," does sound awfully partisan. But what is more worrying for me as a Briton is that by going public Ridge seriously hampered the effectiveness of intelligence-gathering investigations in Pakistan and the UK. I am convinced that an attack on the UK is inevitable. Please don't play politics with our security. |
